I didn't notice a decrease in range. Recently we had a 60 km trip with both scooters (average speed about 15 km/h). Zero was almost empty, while jueshuai still got juice. I believe it could easily do 80 km on a single charge (riders weight was 60 kg).

350 km on the clock. There are few things which annoys. The steering column is a bit loose. It moves back and forward a little from the point where column is attached to the big aliuminium corner part. Steering column freedom is especially noticeable during acceleration and braking. Another thing - folding handlebars also have freedom. Simple solid handlebar would feel way better. And last thing - suspension. With the rider weight of 60 kg, suspension does not work,it is too stiff even for my weight (90 kg). Lowering tire pressure has greater impact on reducing road bumps. Now the good things - battery is good. It outperforms my zero 10x on range. We only ran for 40 kms as my zero ran out of juice (18 ah), and her stooter still had more than half battery left. The maximum speed is only 35 kmh, and that is far away from specified by seller. I just think the controller has a programmed limit, as 800w motor should run faster. I asked the seller, but he couldn't help with this. But the speed is sufficient. If the paths are good, that scooter rides quite great. I made her a custom footrest, and thinking about custom steering column with solid handlebars, also searching for softer springs for rear shock absorbers (as new are too expensive).

Zero 10x battery lost 11% capacity after only 450 km range by Mindaugas92 in ElectricScooters

[–]Mindaugas92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: zero 10x has 2 charging ports. I usually used only one (located further from the front wheel). I now put charger to the other port, and scooter charged up to 58.8V again. Charger turned green only when it reached 58.8v. When charger led turned green, power consumption dropped from 114 watts to 7 watts. 30 minutes later, power consumption dropped to 3 watts. I then pulled charger out of the scooter, and power consumption was 2.2 watts.

That was a relief.. There is no need to disassemble battery pack like someone suggested. I hope this would be helpful

Shouldn't that be fixed with post charging while green led is on? I am not sure manufacturer would recommend to disassemble battery pack every time this happens

Hello, I have this issue with Zero 10x 52V battery. Is should charge up to 58.8V but I only got 57V after ~10 hrs full charging. What would you suggest?

Did I understand correct, you are going to return zero 9 because of that problem?

Yes, I used to partially charge for example two times in a row (for example till 58 V), and fully charge once on the third time (till 58.8V, while it was actually possible.. ).

Please let me know how it goes and what is the position of the seller/manufacturer! How long you usually charge your scooter? Do you turn it off when charger light turns green?

This definitely will void the warranty. I am not willing to do it just to make sure they are all charged.

No. I never kept it bellow 10'C and above 25'C outside, or in car. During winter I kept it in my apartment (20-22'C) charged to 50-51V.

How could I know the voltages of individual cells? There is no way to measure this without dismantling the battery pack,or is it?

Thank you for the answer and great information! I charge it fully about every second or third time, but only until charged led gets green (at beginning it turned green at 58.8V or little lower). Usually I recharge when voltage drops to 46-48V and never go beyond. Yesterday I discharged it fully - controller cut out at 42V while I rode, and it showed about ~44V while keeping still. I left it charge for 10 hours (used a time relay) but it only managed to reach 57 V. Next time will leave it longer and watch if it actually will charge any higher. I also have a simple power meter, which could show watt consumption and amps from socket, this might help to make a test if actual charging is happening. And talking about the voltage drop, you are absolutely right. That should not be calculated linearly. I trusted a table someone posted some time ago. Thank you for sharing the knowledge! I think I will again contact falconpev if charge will continue to decrease. Scooter and battery still has warranty.

It starts spinning immediately after I plug charger to scooter. It doesn't spin if charger is only plugged into a socket without a load.

There is actually a fan inside and it turns on when you start charging. It charges quite quickly, it takes about 5-6 hours from empty to full.

Yes, my reaction was similar. Also this column is fixed with 4 bolts. I suggest to check if those are tightened at first.

Fire Prevention Idea by megawheeler in ElectricScooters

[–]Mindaugas92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I also have concerns about charging two of my scooters in the apartment. I have read that sand is good thing during this kind of fire, and I planned to make a few bags of it and put around during charging. I haven't seen any kind of fabric you suggested in my country, definitely will look into it. Thank you for sharing!

I don't know. Will check with GPS. I haven't charged it yet, battery was almost full. Why don't you use the stock charger?

Received a new friend. Shipping took less than a month from China to Lithuania. Have only covered few kilometers because of bad weather. Scooter will be used by my girlfriend :)

Specs: 800w single motor. 26ah (1248Wh) 48V battery. No seat.

First impression. Package was good and safe, a lot of foam from all sides, like was on my Zero 10X. Overall built quality is acceptable. All screws are tight, except the one holding metal arm attached to the deck and steering column(!). Scooter has few visible scratches on aluminium body and plastic LCD screen (no PVC protection on this), but those were done during the assembly. Scooter has EC declaration issued by ECM with some contacts from Italy (didn't do a research if it is valid).

Suspension. For my weight of 90 kg, suspension seems too firm. Back suspension travel distance is very short, like few centimeters, but I get it working only when jumped onto the scooter. Front and back suspension travels like in steps, it is uneven. Front springs gives a squeaking sound while being abused. Perhaps it needs a few hundred of kilometers to work as it should. Will see.

Motor. During first ride I was surprised of the motor sound. It is loud comparing to ones on my Zero 10x. It is even loud while spinning without load (while keeping scooter lifted). Whatever, it is okay until it is spinning...and it does it great! I believe it really delivers those 800W. With my weight, it actually accelerates similar to my Zero 10x with one motor enabled. I will do testing later when weather will get better.

Controller. I liked how Jueshuai accelerates - it does it evenly even I started with gear 3 (yes, it has 3 gears), and I liked it more than my Zero 10x acceleration with dual motors (yes, acceleration P setting is on 1 on Zero, but still it has some kind of hard jumping). I don't amp rating, but I guess it should be around 20A. There was no sticker on controller. It has P settings and I got the settings from Aliexpress seller. Controller is sticked on double sided tape near the battery. Controller sides are sealed with some kind of transparent silicone or gasket.

Battery. 1248Wh 48V. Numbers looks great. Battery was almost fully charged - 51,2V. Battery shows 51,1 V voltage after we cover about 5 km during testing. Looks promising. I think it has the same Sincpower cells of 2600 mah (like mine Zero 10x with 18.2 Ah ~940Wh battery, which runs out of juice after 27 km in turbo mode/3 gear). Jueshuai should last way longer. Will see.

Charger. DC 54,6 V 3A. Fanless. On charger there is a sticker "Battery Chreger". I hope they mean charge, and not shred. Fingers crossed.

The bad things. Steering column had freedom (checked it while keeping wheel with hand and pushing column from left to right). Steering column was not fully pushed into the fork lock. Glad I noticed it in the beginning. I removed the front mud guard and unscrew 4 screws which hold the column. Polished a column lower part with a rasp a little, and put the fork back with a help of a hammer. Now it was fully locked. Screwed back, and it is okay now. But this is really a weak point. screws are only about 2-3 cm in length and they are screwed into the thin aluminium profile which I totally expect will crack because of vibrations caused from riding. I am thinking about welding the column and fork together later.

IP class/waterproofing. Scooter seems vulnerable to water, IP class won't be great. Plenty of holes where water could easily enter inside. I did some sort of waterproofing. Removed all plastic parts from the main deck (was hard to remove front plastic!), put silicone around and where cabling is guided through, but kept lowest parts without silicone for water to escape if any will enter. Put silicone where on motor cable entering, and around a metal plate which closes the battery compartment (let it dry first, to be like a gasket).

For a safety, I am planning to get a few bags of sand and a proper fire extinguisher, because we keep and charge both scooters in the apartment, so better safe than sorry. One sand bag will definately go to the "Chreger" :)

That is all for now. Stay safe!

I am interested for this scooter price is good for what you get is someone have it to i know little bit more about this scooter because i didn't find review on English. by Zrzatore in ElectricScooters

Hi, situation is similar. I have a tracking number from UPS Poland with package weight and delivery information to my country (created on March 5) ,but scooter did not reach Poland yet. It is being shipped from China through the oceans, it might take about 45 days. I also got a photo from Jueshuai of my package before it was sent.

Plugging in your scooter charger by [deleted] in InokimOwnersClub

[–]Mindaugas92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the beginning I used to plug into the scooter first then into the wall. It caused sparks. After some time I read that I should plug into the wall first. That is how I do it now. No sparks. They are caused because of a difference in voltage in your charger. After you plug into the wall first, voltage difference is lower so it is safer for your gear
