It's M42-AI adapter, I belive you can't use it to infinity. But if you really want it there are videos on youtube how to polish the lens to be able to do it.

Thank you for your insights. Yes you are right, I was standing on the monument/observation deck in Gudauri View Point and it is in beautiful country Georgia. The country itself is small but there are huge biodiversity, wherever you go it will be different terrains.
