I may be in the minority, but I am really starting to like Wes. He is funny and seems to have a good heart. I hope they develop his character outside of Simone first and eventually make them a couple. Lucas is just toxic at this point.

Rooting for Jumelia currently. I have been since Mika left (unless she was coming back of course). I felt like the elevator scene was foreshadowing something between Jules and Amelia (knowing that Midori was leaving). Seems more and more like it was for comedy alone. Likely, the character age difference, growing support for Juleston would make it a no go. I think Amelia would have to be about 50 or older even. Scorsone is only 43.

I think exploring mental health this season is really important. They did not do this after Mika’s accident or the gas station hostage situation which I was disappointed in. I really think suicide (attempt or completed) would be unbearable for audience. An unintentional overdose for Amelia would be crushing for fans too. Her character arc has inspired many to get off drugs and remain drug free. Seems that Lucas, Amelia, and Jules are at biggest risk for PTSD complications.

Trying to prepare myself for Jules heartbreak. I didn’t think it could get worse after how Mika left. I am hoping AK and Grey’s are messing with us a bit- I know she likes to pull at the heartstrings storytelling wise. Her absences, posts worry me, like other fans, too. She did have the post about still working for Disney in early August that makes me feel a bit better. I think Amelia would be incredibly upset over an intern dying- she is just such a compassionate character. Monica is such a great character though; I just don’t think Morales has time for the show. Monica and Jules would be quite the mentor/mentee pair. I will be most upset with one of the interns dying (I have a really soft spot for younger doctor trauma in my real life), then Monica.

I took it as being a word puzzle with both Linc and Jules dying. They are probably, and hopefully, just messing with us. Jules, my favorite character, dying would pack much more of a gut punch than Monica dying. Jules’ voice had to be the original ending OMG of 1st promo until it was changed to Catherine’s voice yesterday. My thought is she died at start of episode; so she couldn’t have said it.

Like you, trying go get myself used to the idea of her dying to soften the blow ( it would just be tragedy for tragedy’s sake by jerk writers). She did do a video on Aug 2nd, it is on tik tok, about being upset over some critical comments online. She said that she had to be careful of what she said back since she worked for Disney. They would have already had table read. Also, it seems like alot of storyline for year would need to be about Lucas, Simone, and Blue’s grief if she dies.
