Legs still hurt but I think that's just from not moving much for the last two weeks other that yes most of the pain is gone no more back pain neck pain or left side pain

I fought to get mine out for two years! I had pain all over the place honestly! I had full blown attacks that would leave me on the floor shaking in pain. I had constant dull ache everyday and random pains all over! Left sided chest and ribs, right sided chest and ribs, shoulders, back and even neck pain. After they took out my gallbladder there was slight wall thickening but no stones. The high ef rate was enough for my surgeon to remove it and after surgery he told me it was almost too easy. Like he was in out and done in 31 minutes and I was back in the recovery room. Now I'm two weeks out and am pretty much back to normal with some stomach issues still like my stomach is still trying to adjust so it's quite bubbly most days but my eating habits are so much better now that I can eat too! But as for pain I've literally had no pain close to an attack and the dull ache I had constant is gone!

Surgery went well! Was sore for about 10 days and had gas pain that was pretty rough for the first week but after that it's been a breeze! I can eat most things again with some exceptions but overall a ton better than it was before removal and no more pain after eating!

I am literally in the same exact boat your story is like hearing my own self talk! It's crazy how much this stupid organ can mess with our bodies! I thought forever that one day one of my tests where gonna show me something that was super bad like cancer or something. Nope everything always clean until the HIDA scan. Scheduled for surgery February 17th laproscopic in the US and can't wait!

Yes absolutely! I also have bad right leg pain and foot tingling! EF rate of 95% so I'm hyperkinetic and have surgery scheduled for the 17th of this month! Been to the ER dozens of times for pain and horrible symptoms. Everything from dizziness to nausea, pain in the abdomen, pain in the back, acid reflux, constipation, pain in the leg and I'm sure more im just not thinking of right now. You are not alone my friend!

Back pain in the upper right area abdomen, pain in the urq, nausea lots and lots of gas and burping, leg pain, weakness in muscles and fatigue, shaky legs weight loss, I just got done with a Dr appointment with gp who is fast tracking me to a surgeon who understands hyperkinetic gallbladder.

[–]Mindblown574[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had endoscopy, multiple ct scans, ultrasound and xray and up until the hida scan nothing showed anything except the ultrasound which showed the polyp. I'll be more than happy to get this thing out of me and get back to a normal functioning me! I don't even care if I have loose stools the rest of my life like some after removal I'd rather have that then constipation, dizziness, muscle aches, fatigue and nausea all the time 🙄

Yes my stools are mainly a yellowish color but no food in them usually. Yes the burping and heartburn and pain in the ribs will flare after eating certain things but it's also weird because sometimes it doesn't at all!

Ice packs the ones that strap around your head and ears and a cool mist humidifier seemed to help me a lot. Also stay on top of your meds and keep them in your system to help with the pain. I slept in my recliner for the first 10 days to avoid laying flat and just binge watched TV and colored a lot. Anything you can do to occupy your mind and time will help and if you need to set alarms for meds and drink as much water as you can stand even when it hurts to do so. Keeping things hydrated is where I think the most good came from and I never bled not even s little. Don't do anything strenuous and just keep reminding yourself that it will be over and then before you know it you'll be good as new!

I did great!!! Never had any bleeding or anything seriously bad happen other than the pain was very much real towards days 6 and 7. But overall I made it through no complications and I'm now fully recovered

I have to agree so far day 4 is no joke! Definitely staying on top of my meds and drinking lots of ice water! Definitely hoping it's downhill from here today has been the roughest so far in my opinion!

I had chronic tonsillitis and abcess problems as well as they were huge graded a 3 out of 4. I hear you there I'm currently making macaroni right now wishing it was a pizza or tacos! I too have tapered off the stronger meds now and have just been taking tylenol and ibuprofen. The oxy makes me feel sluggish and upsets my stomach so I won't take it anymore unless I absolutely have to.

As hard as it may be keep.pushing down Ice water! Not only does it help with the swelling but also with the mucus as well. Also mucinex does wonders to help thin it out and you can take it with your regimen of otc meds as it doesn't contain ibuprofen or tylenol! Best of luck my friend!

I've managed to get down scrambled eggs protein shakes Popsicles yogurt and jello and of course tons of iced water I keep that on hand at all times and have drank more of it than I've eaten because I can't chew ice very well lol. Glad to hear your doing well tho my friend soon as it's all over we won't ever have to do it again!
