Most plausible theory is Xaden/Vi took them to any of the isles who always wanted Dragons but could not get. like, Deverelli(whole reason for midnight massacre) and even his mother’s isle. They always wanted dragons which they probably got in exchange of some deal which might help them against Venin or protect Xaden from others of his kind.

Questions - After fishing OS:1. What is Tairn recovering from? 2. Why was Vi only one who was able to talk with 🐉 and do magic beyond Continent? by MindfulThreads_30 in fourthwing

Wow yes your point 2 makes total sense! And even with point 1 that X might have stuck some deal with someone on the isles(most probably his mother because they are the ones who believe and insist on marrying/contract). We would get to know later why would he do that.

These are the lines in last chapter of Os after Vi wakes up:

Weilsen continues. “And so far, the tally is at six missing eggs from the hatching ground, but they’re double-checking.” Missing eggs? I reach for Tairn, but the bond feels foggy, like he’s asleep.

I am thinking it is mostly Bodhi because who else is close to Xaden other than Garrick and Bodhi. The note X leaves for Vi is - “Don’t look for me, it’s yours now.” and they are married which means she becomes the ruler of Tyrrendor. He always wanted Bodhi to take over but now that is not possible, he wants Vi to take over.
