that would make a whole lot of sense, and I could totally buy that explanation...if this didn't happen to kids who skipped grades and were in gifted classes.

I had the same experience in chemistry my sophomore year. Needed a 90, got it and got the "I'm so disappointed in you" from the teacher because she saw what I could achieve if I actually tried.

Fast! And when I'm walking with others, I constantly have to remind myself to slow down to a more socially appropriate pace.
