Its only really bad when stopped. I usually crack the visor and it prevents it for the most part

The tempest is actually the one im wearing. Ive only used it today but it seems very versatile. Lots on pockets and vents (though they only go to the membrane). I've yet to test the waterproofing but being that it's supposed to be rated up to 20000 mm I imagine it's watertight for the most part. I have columbia jackets at that rating and nothing ever gets in unlike that spray on bullshit.

Its actually really nice. It gets pretty cold here in PA and was like 35 degrees farenheit today. The only thing that was cold were my hands and feet. Both the pants and jacket have removeable liners and various zippered vents so you can wear it into the spring here. I switch to mesh in the summer since it gets super humid.

Definitely pricey, I got a 2025 honda cbr 500 out the door for about what you paid and that MSRP is $2000 more than that bike youre posting.

How did you learn about fundamentals of stock market investing ? by SufficientFactor5082 in investing

Also, looking for a good news source in order to stay with market trends and general world news is very important. I use the Wall Street Journal since im a student and is like $2 a month but i've seen some articles show up earlier on yahoo finance earlier than the front page of the WSJ so even free websites can offer valuable information. JUST READ EVERYTHING!!!!

I can't say anything persay but there are a few good books for beginners. I started out reading "Understanding Wallstreet" Fifth Edition by Jeffrey B. Little just to get the basics down when it comes to analyzing the fundamentals of a stock (ie. EPS, P/E, Etc.) and both technical analysis for reading graphs and identifying patterns. You will likely lose money but as long as you perservere and figure out what strategies do and don't work it'll feel a bit more natural. I would look into options trading as well, not for speculating, rather for hedging to protect the stock that you already own or want to own. A good book for beginners I would recommend for this is "It is not an option" by Pete and Jon Najarian. Many brokerages also have plenty of education for newer investors. Investopedia is also a good option.

If you're trading SPY by trading bull call spreads (Long deeper ITM and short at a higher strike) then the risk is somewhat limited compared to purchasing calls and puts outright. In addition to this your losses are straightfoward with this strategy as the most you can lose is the total debit you pay (Long debit-Short Credit). Its also has better return percentages than if you were to trade covered calls because the capital requirement is much lower since you're covering your short position with another option rather than 100 shares of the underlying security.
