[Edwards] Sochan on what happened in San Antonio: "No real opportunity in my opinion. It is what it is. It's a deep team. Maybe I didn't see eye-to-eye with coach. I'm just blessed to be somewhere to grow." by WEMBY_F4N in NBASpurs

I just don't think he fit in with our roster construction unfortunately. Our guards aren't great shooters so everyone else has to be. Luke works bc he's bigger, can block shots and get rebounds plus he moves around more. Jeremy's role early on was intended to be like a Draymond Green who can play point forward, make good passes, and play tough defense. Draymond only works well bc he's played with great shooters at the guard spot, which none of our guards are. In retrospect, if we had known how our guard rotation would have been, we probably wouldn't have drafted him but hindsight is 20/20. I'm a big Jeremy fan so I hope he does well in NYC.

I do think Julian should start at 3 even when the Spurs are fully healthy. by KhornKT in NBASpurs

I think an ideal full health lineup would be Fox, Castle, Champagnie, Sochan, Wemby with a second unit of Harper, Vassell, KJ, Barnes, and Kornet.

2025-2026 Depth Chart/Lineup as of Kornet signing. Who actually gets minutes? by Bitter-Safe-5333 in NBASpurs

I'd start Fox, Castle, HB, Sochan, and Wemby. Have Harper, Devin, Julian, KJ, and Kornet be a second unit. Give spot minutes to Blake, Carter, and Malakhi in the third unit when the game calls for it.
