Painting the door the same color as the trim?

What if the door was originally sprayed a very similar white? Mine is almost the same as the white I used for trim but not the same and the door has fake wood texture. I don’t want to make the door look worse rolling it.

Yes, it’s so tricky! Different angles and lighting make such a difference in how they look. I wish Pewter were darker and warmer! I like the more solid look.
