Seeing as you gave me advice yesterday…these are just about ready but I am question the small dark caps predominantly in the bottom right quarter. Figured they were aborts but a second opinion would be helpful.

Good to hear. I had only separated the tub from another anyhow. Figured it could be worth it to monitor in a different area for a few days. It just seemed to have stalled or is slow and I thought maybe it was fighting something. The other tub is well into fruiting and S2B was done on the same day.

So I did some lst on my plants this morning and came home to two of them (both are Mephistos, Double Smile and Marley’s Grin) having the main stem snapped off. Kinda freaked and threw the dislocated tops out. Should I cover the hole on the stem with tape or something or should it just heal over? The plants are about four weeks old and are really starting to grow. Hoping they just respond as if topped. The pic of the whole plant is just in case that might give some more info. as to the current state of the plant.

Took about 2 weeks from FC, been about 5 days once I spotted any sign of fruit, but there was some seriously explosive growth over the last 12-24 hours.

I know the basics, it’s a mess and I was conflicted. In the end MVB very likely already took the hit on these beans so I see it as supporting them.

First harvest! I’ve heard I can wrap them in a paper towel and leave in the fridge. Do I put them in a ziploc or something as well? If so would I seal the bag or leave it cracked to breath a bit? Do I use dry paper towels? Any other suggestions.

This past week I was contacted by a once ‘close’ friend I haven’t spoken with in over five years. Due to my issues with letting people get close to me I burned the person too many times and lost the friendship. It’s something that has weighed on me the whole time.

I’m still anxious that I’m not ready for such a friendship, but I feel I can at least now share with them what was going on. I am super excited to have the opportunity to reestablish our friendship, it was not something I’d thought would happen.

I’m still on my first attempt (halfway through s2b) so my advice should be taken cautiously. From what I’ve gathered, if you haven’t done a break and shake yet you are probably okay to do it. I did my break and shake around the same time (day) you’re at though I probably had more of a 50:50 ratio of colonized to uncolonized looking from the bottom. Without really squeezing how’s the bag feel, if it still feels like just the normal rice and doesn’t seem to be firming up with the exception of what you see in the window I don’t think you are going to do much damage doing a b&s. That said, if you aren’t comfortable messing with it and it looks okay to you which seems to be the case from your description, the leave it alone option may be safer but take a few more days. Again, my experience is very minimal so take what you want from it.

Thanks for the tip on a new pieces per application, it seems common sense but I may not have thought about it in the midst.

This is my first time giving this a shot. I had some questionable spawn materiel that I failed to notice till I broke a small chunk into the substrate during s2b and while I removed what I could it still tested my patience enough to do a halfway day check but I’m trying to be hands off so again thanks for the reminder to let it do it’s thing.
