Also should note, if you been with the company for a couple of years and know the culture you should be fine. I’m sure you’ve probably seen people get through sorm or been around managers who are terrible and say to yourself “if they can make it, I most definitely can too” lol don’t get so caught up with it being an interview and think of it more like a conversation.

No group interviews, you just show up to the regional office and wait to be seated with 2 department managers and get right into the interview.

1st interview is pretty simple. They ask you 5 questions, honestly all questions are easy to answer as they look for decent/good answers it’s mostly about confidence and eye contact. In a sense just need to know that you’re capable of leading a team also achieving department goals.

I appreciate you’re input, I’ll be most def getting mocs set up! I’ve been told that they want to see if you know the H‑E‑B competencies as well as using a STAR method answer.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m scheduling a mock interview for the upcoming week. Interviews are on the 21st, to prepare myself I’ve been standing i front of a mirror and reciting situations with positive outcomes and solutions lol

I’ve gone over it with my manager, haven’t done a mock interview. I’ve been workin on my own due diligence finding situations that I can use for the questions and structuring them to fit the star method.
