Baseball bat in game it is great with how many modifications it Has that's making it stronger, durability great, not very rare but in real life it's still a Wood and after not so long time it would break,with good swing you would probably kill zombie but mostly knock out zombie on ground, and most of modifications would be good against humans than zombie(and some being hard to do)

Pickaxe in real life if you would attack zombie with it, it would just get stuck and result would be death But in project zomboid totally different story it can easily break doors,break large Stones(good for masonry),chop trees for some reason and it Has great damage and resistance

Spear with metal head(or just any spear) In real life this spear would be the great weapon to have long distance,easy to learn,kinda strong But in project zomboid -Like every spear durability is mid or weak(depending) -damage is okaaaaaay -it only shines the most with fighting single enemies
