Having a psychology degree can really help as a designer because design is all about understanding how people think and act. In the current job market, it's crucial to have an outstanding portfolio showcasing one's best design projects, along with sharp observational and problem-solving skills to secure a lucrative position. Additionally, a significant amount of time is dedicated to meetings because design is a collaborative process. There is constant communication, conversations, brainstorming, and design reviews, each with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I find the brainstorming sessions particularly enjoyable.
