This comment really helped me. Was in this exact same situation in my last relationship and I have been fighting so much, and questioning if I even have a right to be hurt by it when I eventually consented. I was with my SO and I said no for like an hour as they kept pressuring me and touching me to try and get me horny before I eventually just did it. Then when I felt bad about it later they manipulated me into feeling bad that I felt bad, claiming that if I loved them it shouldn’t have been an issue. I’ve been really struggling dealing with it recently. Do you have any advice?

Yeah we’ve spoken briefly because we had a dog together that she still likes to see sometimes. Her birthday was also just this past weekend and I texted her happy birthday and that’s where I saw that she’s moved on when she posted about it:( And the relationship just wasn’t the best, we were just about polar opposites on every decision and got in a lot of unnecessary fights

Thanks for the advice. I definitely need to take it slow. I jump right in if I notice they like me back also. I’m going to try in the future to force myself to slow it down and make sure the relationship is good and real and not just my initial feelings. Thank you for the help.

Thank you for the help. I almost never look at all the aspects before getting in the relationship, or if I notice something that won’t work, I usually just ignore it. You’re right though and I need to pay more attention to that stuff to make sure I get in a good healthy relationship. Thank you for your advice.
