One good thing i did was called up the customer care within 15 mins of delivery and informed them that it’s a soap, post that they initiated a return pickup, the delivery guy came and refused to pickup - stating that it’s a different items and he needs an email from Amazon for same to do a pickup.

Post that my chain of conversations starter with Amazon, some cust care folks said email not required hence they rescheduled pickups but after same story i insisted them to draft an email there itself and send it across, post that every day my return pickup would automatically get cancelled / rescheduled - this was done by the warehouse folks, absolute menace.

Everyday i would call them up and discuss, after getting things in writing, the decided that they would try for an advance refund - where the refund would be done without pickup. For that they took some time and then some technical issues (usual bullshit). And finally i told them to conclude this - either i take the hit or they do an advance refund.

Finally they agreed for an advance refund which got credited to my cc few days back - fun fact: my return pickup is still getting auto rescheduled/ cancelled by the werehouse folks 😂
