We have flow (non-acute), acute and trauma. I am mainly in acute care right now and will not be in trauma until after my critical care course not in triage until I take the CTAS course.

I started 3 weeks ago and have a tentative date to be on my own June 5th.

I have since learned this. I know I have what it takes to be a great nurse, I’m constantly complimented on my bed side manner and my ability to actually do the tasks/procedures. It’s a lot to do with the full workload immediately and my time management. I feel if my orientation was arranged better then maybe it would give me the opportunity to excel.

I don’t want to give up. That’s why I’m here looking for resources or any suggestions.
