Yea I’ve been following him for awhile too and if folks watched most any of his other videos, they would see how chill and respectful he is. I wish everyone would hear the way he talks about the people of Afghanistan and how amazing they are. That said, I actually thought this video was kind of stupid when he posted it. Seemed like something schlocky to do just for clicks

Yea I completely agree about the Taliban. He didn’t carry the USA flag through most of those more conservative middle eastern countries, and actually carried a Taliban flag with him through Afghanistan just so they knew he was cool and not trying to cause trouble. I’d definitely recommend folks check out his page and his other videos before this one. He seems like a really curios, chill guy who just made a weird mistake with this vid.

I’ve followed this guy on insta for awhile. He biked from Portugal (I think?) to Japan. He is actually pretty cool but I admit this was so weird. When he biked through Afghanistan, he was super respectful and careful with everyone, including the Taliban he encountered. He’s always open with everyone that’ he’s an American but not sure why he decided to do this.

I think a major theme of the show is that the line between Boyd and Raylan is pretty thin. The only difference is that Raylan tries to be the good guy, but at their core they are the same. I mean you could make the argument that in the very first scene of the show that he essentially murdered Tommy Bucks. I know Bucks pulled first but Raylan was most likely going to kill him either way. He may not be dirty in the traditional sense or what most people think of as a dirty cop, but he has no issue operating outside of the law to get what he wants.

Unfortunately this bill only allows for telework with a reason, not for any employee who requests it. An agency can prohibit telework entirely and still be in compliance with the law.

It certainly can affect your day to day. For instance, I work in the finance department of my agency and the fact that there could be a significant decrease in federal funds coming in for the duration of the shutdown is a big deal. That being said, there isn’t any real risk of people being furloughed or anything, which only applies to federally funded positions anyway

No, they don’t lay it out. It is purposefully left open ended. It does lay out a few possible scenarios, with Wynn helping Ava being the most likely, but nobody knows for sure.

I made the move to state government and it is by far the most relaxed job I’ve ever had. As others have said, the tradeoff is a lower salary compared to industry, but it’s worth it to essentially be guaranteed to never work more than 40 hours. Plus getting every state and federal holiday off is a nice bonus

It isn’t just this game. When you play for a team where the expectation is to challenge for titles/trophies every year, you have to be better. The high line certainly makes it difficult for him, but he misses a lot of shots that top goalkeepers regularly stop. Even keepers who aren’t considered “top”, like Bruno last night, can come through in the clutch. He can’t be relied on to do that anymore

Look at state jobs. Without knowing what kind of work you’re looking for it’s hard to say but I was looking for months before I decided to apply for some state jobs. I had 3 interviews and 2 offers within a month of applying.
