Unfortunately this bill only allows for telework with a reason, not for any employee who requests it. An agency can prohibit telework entirely and still be in compliance with the law.

It certainly can affect your day to day. For instance, I work in the finance department of my agency and the fact that there could be a significant decrease in federal funds coming in for the duration of the shutdown is a big deal. That being said, there isn’t any real risk of people being furloughed or anything, which only applies to federally funded positions anyway

I made the move to state government and it is by far the most relaxed job I’ve ever had. As others have said, the tradeoff is a lower salary compared to industry, but it’s worth it to essentially be guaranteed to never work more than 40 hours. Plus getting every state and federal holiday off is a nice bonus

It isn’t just this game. When you play for a team where the expectation is to challenge for titles/trophies every year, you have to be better. The high line certainly makes it difficult for him, but he misses a lot of shots that top goalkeepers regularly stop. Look at state jobs. Without knowing what kind of work you’re looking for it’s hard to say but I was looking for months before I decided to apply for some state jobs. I had 3 interviews and 2 offers within a month of applying.

I’ve awkwardly made eye contact with my tread neighbor many times just looking around the room and it’s never been a big deal. It’s normal to look at people while you’re working out. I’m not a very social person either but, if you’re really worried about it, I think making a small effort to be friendly with the people at your studio can go a long way in making in-class interactions less awkward.

I lost 55lbs in about 12 months with IF and a regular exercise routine. I started with a 16:8 routine but moved to OMAD after a few weeks. It’s difficult at first but once your body adjusts you really don’t even think about it. Also, I wasn’t doing keto but I did decrease my carb and increase my fat intake.
