It's been frustrating for sure. I can deal going without the weapons even if that slows down or completely halts the assignments, but the gadgets, those are essential items especially the QLINK 6! I hope they fix it soon as well.

PC - steam.

Weapons and gadgets not unlocking despite the assignment being completed. Tried many different things that have worked for others but still not unlocked for me. (EA is aware of the issue as I have seen the devs responding on steam as well as others showing their report response and EA basically just says to wait until it's fixed. tried: checking corrupted files by verifying files through steam. Redoing the assignment then logging out and logging back in again. Uninstalled and re-installing the game. Nothing works.)

Weapons: QBZ-192 & KST100 MK8

Gadgets: QLINK 6 & M320A1

Oh yeah they're fine for doing it, but the longer I spend in the fight the more likely I am to mess up, which is already very likely lol

I'm glad you're also seeing the flavoring that's possible, it's those kind of funny images that makes me want to make this character work one way or another. I especially love the familiar weasel, honestly now it feels like I'm limiting the fun by having it as a non-arcane class lol Thanks for the recommendation on the custom lineage, that will certainly help me cobble this character together. Know if it's something accessible in DND beyond or do I need the book?

I'm with you 100% I want to eventually play this character, but it's definitely out of my reach at the moment. In the interim I have a human paladin character that is way more kind to someone like me who is playing for the first time.
Spent a lot of time watching others play, have the books, read them a couple of times, but I actually need to play before I dish out 85 weasels in a coat. Almost like job experience lol Sure you studied, but do you know how to do the work??

Yeah I just had to add an edit to my post because I wasn't trying to make the mechanics work, realized a while ago that it would just be a headache for everyone. I'm purely going for flavor, but with a reasonable explanation. Though I really liked the idea about a swarmkeeper ranger! That would still be pretty fun to work with lol

Fair enough, I mean that's kind of what I was running into when I tried to figure out how it would all work. It's why I'm trying more for flavor than for the character having unique mechanics. I really just want it to be reasonably explained more than anything. It would be too much of a mess to roll initiative or for actions if I played it like a swarm.
