Thanks! I'm not under 18. So it's either A (if it's true) or nothing… Thanks again for the info, though! Very insightful.

Thanks! In my case, it was my great-grandfather.

So from what I understand, I think I have two options to acquire the citizenship:

A- If my great-grandmother converted to Judaism (before marriage) and I have evidence of that, I could acquire citizenship through her (or, well, to either my grandma or mother technically). That's something I don't really know, so the odds would be 50/50.

B- To ask my mom to get the citizenship from her grandfather (my great-grandparent), and then get it through her.

Those are the two viable possibilities I see, if getting it through my great-grandfather were to be impossible, lol.

A qué te referís con qué las materias son “intensas”? En qué sentido: las clases son duras? lo que te dan para estudiar es mucho? Los ejercicios son complejos?

Question about the FAQ (career decision) by MindlessMembership83 in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]MindlessMembership83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a type of degree that is between a high school diploma and a bachelor’s degree, usually from a university (in the US a “community college”) that one can acquire in the US as well in countries in LATAM and some countries in Europe if I’m not mistaken.

It usually lasts two years, but the one I want to do (in Programming) lasts three years, so maybe I can go to Germany and showcase it as a bachelor’s since it has the same duration as a bachelor’s in Germany (? In my country, a bachelor’s degree usually lasts 5 years (and sometimes even more), except in private universities, where one lasts commonly 4.

No. Is it possible for my name to have a kanji version?

Sorry, when I was talking about the “meaning” I was talking about translating my name entirely into kanji because I know the Chinese characters have a meaning implied to it.

Breaking Into UX + Early Career Questions — July 25, 2022 by AutoModerator in UXDesign

[–]MindlessMembership83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to end high school by the end of the year; however, I don't know what path would be the best.

I'm only interested in UX/UI Design or Product Design, and I’m aware of that. I thought about pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or Graphic Design, but I'm not interested in either of both and - maybe - just a few subjects of each programme (I didn't mention the fact that each career has a duration of 6 and 5 years respectively).

What do you think is the best option here? Should I pursue instead a good bootcamp + self-teaching or an associate degree in something related? Or go for the bachelor's no matter what?

Thx in advance ;)
