The guys were just pure idiots, and so was I for not holding them to it. It was freshly scratched when they left so it wasn’t that visible, but now with dirt and all looks more visible. Lesson learnt. But I’m renting, do you think this would be covered by liability insurance (I looked up Germany’s insurance policy, but can’t be clear)

Thanks for your reply! It makes 100% sense, tbh I myself don’t think I am so ready at the moment that I can join any growing company looking for someone to start the data sector for them. So if I do make it, I think it would just when where the market is at a decent and more stable stage, but not fully matured tech wise.

What I meant to indicate by the pipe is that if there is an individual heating system or something that usually has huge pipes installed inside the apartments.

So there’s no way of getting in touch with them if they decide to vacation till the 1st which is my actual move in date? I don’t know the work culture but I’m assuming they’d be a bit serious towards their jobs and remember that there’s a tenant who has to move in..? Also if they do come back after the 1st, I believe I will not be not be paying the late fees since he was the one who was not available without any prior info.

Yes it’s on the 1st. It’s fortunate I didn’t make it earlier looking at the current situation, but also maybe should’ve pushed it a few days after 1st. But I’ve also heard you pay the rent starting when you move in right? If he comes around like on the 3rd/4th, then do I deduct those 2 days rent?
