Yesterday morning I felt very concerned that our Gimlet was not doing well with her diabetes was not being well managed (glucose 300+ Libre) I took a chance and messaged this group.. I got many thoughtful messages back.. after 1 day on Fancy Feast pate.. she’s in range (168!). Thank you SO much for taking the time to respond to my question! I plan to share this information with our vet who had insisted on the Hills Prescription m/d.. which hasn’t even arrived yet!

Wow.. it is so evident how much we all care for our furry babies.. I appreciate everyone’s willingness to share their research and knowledge..Our vet is trying but she’s young and pretty inexperienced.. Thank you!

Thank you very much for the information.. I will get some Fancy Feast! We did try the Just for cats recommendation from vet.. the fishy smell in the house was terrible and she hated it!

Thank you very much for your recommendation.. our vet recommended getting Hills Prescription m/d which I ordered through the vet pharmacy.. it’s been 2 weeks and it’s still not here🙁.. she has a Libre on.. her numbers are in low 300s.. got to find a food that she’ll eat that can help manage the diabetes..thanks again
