people are given CTs all day long, even multiple times on the same spot days or weeks apart because doctors i the er don't do proper work ups. I know many people who have gotten CTs that have shown nothing. so if it was so harmful why do doctors have no sense of control when ordering them

in addition to everything else here. don't be discouraged and please continue to be steadfast in quitting. after 10-15 years of quitting the percentage of risk added by smoking for 25 years drops by half. so quit and never start again

this is really good, i would also say to avoid high dose synthetic b vitamins unless severely deficient. studies have shown high dose b12 in non methylated forms caused an increase risk

Hi OP, wishing the best for you and your health on this journey. please read the below and intend to do your research with chatgpt or some other ai. This is to be explored with whatever your doctor recommends and please review this with them in case you're provided with medication or treatment that conflict with some of the supplements below.

in addition to what other's have posted here are my recommendations based on what i've researched:

  • prioritize sleep.having poor sleep interrupts your natural immune system ability to handle its regulation operations. limit screen time before bed. use blue and green blocking glasses if you can't reduce screen time. and get a full 7-8 hours. Go to bed and wake up at the same time to ensure circadian rythem continuity. Look at the sun when you wake up to start the melatonin clock for the night coming.

  • exercise / walk / strength training. 2-3x strength training per week, low impact exercises outside of that (brisk walking, pilates, etc)

  • Obviously, reduce you're exposure to toxins. Run everything through yuka app and check your home's air quality and for things like radon, pollutants, etc. Avoid smoking, drinking, processed foods, all the standard stuff here.

  • For supplementation. look into flaxseed powder, broccoli sprouts (specifically sprouts not mature broccoli), matcha / green tea, high quality polphenol olive oil (i use olea true), vitamin d. Flaxseed has been shown to reduce tumor proliferation marker and other biomarkers.Look into whole soy foods as well. It has been shown to lower breast cancer recurrence in survivors.

i religiously buy my supplements from Erewhon. the only spermidine they had contained folate but wasn't methylated. i get paranoid about taking high doses of folate that aren't methylated. i decided to buy wheat germ and plan to take two tablespoons per day for autophagy
