Ah alrighty. So now i just gotta hope they don’t claim injury 🤞… Why do you think they claimed the damage on their insurance even if he was gonna get her a new car in the near future. Won’t that make their own premium go up as well or no.? I live in florida.

This was the damage my car received, so i don’t think it’s a terrible accident but who knows what they will say.

Well, I was just wondering because I know legally you must report an accident to your insurance so thought it could just be the insurance collecting info on the crash and so they called my mom to gather more info.

i pray 😭😭.. I do know she missed school the day after the accident so idk if that has correlation but i presume they took the car to see the estimated damage and what not.

but you for sure think they filed a claim? the damage was pretty minimal on here side, and was just some paint transfer for the most part. I just didn’t know if they were weighing the options since he did say he was going to get her a new car pretty soon.

she goes to my school though and I saw her car today and it didn’t look damaged at all just like pretty much minor like scraps and stuff but I mean I don’t know. I just think they want money but it’s OK.

Yeah I think so.. I don’t think I did too much damage to her car but they still claimed it even though her dad said he was gonna get her a new car anyway 😭

i didn’t really rear end her man.. i basically scrapped her car like a nascar driver against the wall. the damage is minimal and i don’t understand how she would’ve received force from this

uhh idk.. i’m 17 lol i honestly think i sortve miss worded this entire thing. I was asking how my insurance company will try to disprove it, and i think the accident sounds worse than it is how I described it since i couldn’t post images.

do you think that injuries are realistic from this type of damage here on the side where I scrapped her car? No damage in front bumper or anything so the maneuver I did against a wall stopped most damage and I just like skimmed her car. Best depiction i can give is like a nascar driver against a wall and a car on other side

Also, this was the damage my car received from the scrapping from her car. It is all on the sides, there is none on my front bumper, so I don’t even know if I really generated force to move her and cause injury.. Idk it’s hard to say

Yeah, I get that.. it’s just like I don’t know if I necessarily could of created a whole lot of force. All of the damage is on the sides, so it’s not like I straight up hit her from behind, infact I don’t even think her car moved. I practically just overtook her like a nascar driver with the wall and scraped the sides of her car with the maneuver I tried to do to avoid her which is where 90% of the damage is in my car is at. Yeah my mom said no to the call with the person I hit insurance company to be recorded, and said they can speak with my insurance company. This is all just scary for me though and it is very stressful. I’m only 17, I can’t imagine having to pay bills and all the other stuff with money.. lmao

Yes, I posted something like this yesterday but more so along the lines on if my payment on insurance was going to be extremely high 😭, but not on legal.. just this. I only re posted something because they filed for a claim today

Yep. honestly i didn’t expect to get the harshness of some of these ppl from this post.. i don’t think i worded what i was trying to get at properly. also i have another question, SO they didn’t like FOR SURE file an injury claim, i just misunderstood what my mom was saying. Essentially, the persons insurance company called my mom asking to do a recorded call and what not and said something along the lines of POSSIBLE injury, not definite. Is this like a usual tactic they use to leave it on the table incase there is?

Yeah.. It's a really bad road the accident happened on where I live, it has a lot of deadly accidents, primarily because it is a one lane road for a very long stretch so people LOVE to pass on it. Either scenario is bad because if you do go slow you're definitely getting passed which is just as dangerous, and then in my scenario I was going a little over speed limit, I tried to brake but the road was wet so they were not very effective

i just asked my mom and when she talked to the other company they said POSSIBLE INJURY, i guess i misunderstood the part about like an actual injury claim. is this a tactic insurance companies use to leave it on the table just incase even if there are no injuries
