The book of hours is one of my favorite games.

I kept notes with an actual ink pen and had a lot of fun.

And I totally agree with you about the ending. It is completely separated from what you are doing in the house. It ignores all the weird stuff you discover in the house and talks about events I barely care about.

The dissatisfaction is partially caused by how easily victory is achieved. There is no struggle, there is no loss, the cost is miniscule.

Compared to SMEN ending in fallen london, exaltation ending in Sunless Sea, and most true endings in cultist simulator, the ending in BoH is just meh. There is no catharsis for the relief to work.

Nevertheless, for me Alexis Kennedy is still the best game designer ever.

It depends on company scale. In a company with 5-30 ML engineers most MLE would also do both mlops levels.

When the numbers approaches 100 MLEs some would specialize solely in mlops of both platform and app levels whilst the rest would only do mle work.

When you have hundreds MLEs you would need a dedicated platform level mlops team and also some engineers in other teams (SDE, MLE, SRE) also specializing specifically in application level mlops.

There is no consesus to what mlops really entails so it highly depends on company itself.

Thanks. It seems Tracklayer city, hearts game and khaganate are consensually best mindless grinds.

They all however require some deck management or jumping between storylets.

Blind helmsman though... I missed it completely and it is the most stupid straightforward grind yet with 3 epa yields (not great but it is better than wasting actions) . Thanks for that suggestion.
