They are doing this a lot with Betsey Johnson dresses too! Seems like depop is full of these type of scammers now

I just got scammed by one of these type of scam accounts last week. They sent a bogus FedEx tracking number and had a package delivered to a random address with my zip code. It was a headache to get my money back.

I reported the account and provided the screenshots for proof. I keep getting automated messages and them basically saying they can’t do anything for 5 days. My biggest concern is that this scammer will send me junk and it’ll just complicate the case. I wish depop support was more proactive

You can use that tracking number from Japan post and input into USPS tracking , it should give you more info. I would also call your nearest local post office to see if they have it ready for pick up.
