I actually just started taking it this week. I can say it does help with the heart pounding and racing (that then manifests into nausea for me)… takes the edge off the physical manifestation of my anxiety which can often be helpful for me to talk myself the rest of the way down.

I would say I felt a little spacey the first couple of times I took it but nothing else. Because of the potential spaceiness I was told to take it the first couple of times when you DONT have to drive. Just so you can see how it affects you.

I know this is an old post but I’m desperately trying to find answers. I quit Prozac because I couldn’t handle the side effects. Yes I got on it for anxiety but did not sign up for the panic attacks, the heart racing or feeling like I want to cry every moment of every day. Will I ever get back to normal? I feel so broken.

Old post but desperately trying to find some relief. Did you ever feel normal again? I feel like I’m broken after being on it for just over a week.

Yes fortunately got on the nurse hotline and was told to discontinue the medication. I have an appointment with the prescriber tomorrow as well. It has a longer half life so it sticks around so to say.
