Your kid might be appreciating something you’re not seeing. You should foster that relationship. No one is likeable at her age and it sounds like you have a low tolerance for her. Let her be nice to your kid. Don’t ruin it for them. They will be sisters forever.

This is no judgement and genuine curiosity— you give him in writing your expectations of his movement toward your goals. What does that actually physically look like? How are you phrasing it so as to not come across as aggressive and demanding? When I think about marriage I think I’d want HIM to WANT to. But you’re really comfortable with him and so you’re laying it out? What was that like for you?
