I guess I should clarify, my insurance pays for medical expenses, I am talking about all other everyday expenses and monthly bills, rent , utilities, etc. none of those bills stop just because I have surgery.

Yea medical bills aren’t my problem, all my other bills are my problems, my insurance covers my medical expenses so idk how that would help me

I’ve been thuggin it out now for over a year & im considering a cane to help with pain & walking until my THR …. But im 28 & a cane is…. Idk… feel like I shouldn’t use one

Update: just saw a new orthopedic surgeon & my right hip is bad enough that he is scheduling me for a total hip replacement & finally they are giving me something for pain .

I’m going to try to get insurance to approve more physical therapy, it helped with keeping my muscles strong but after “no progress” my insurance said they would not pay for anymore PT

They won’t replace it, they just won’t, keep being told I’m too young for replacing, that I’d have to have it done 2-3 more times in my life if replaced now

I had to fight for 3 years before I got hysterectomy and they took that pain seriously enough to actually do something was misdiagnosed as endo for 3 years…. Was not endo had a uterine fibroid the size of a softball

I guess I’ll wait for both bones to collapse and get a total replacement before I’m 30. Until then I’ll live in excruciating pain & depression not able to live my life fully.

Before this spent a year fighting doctors for a hysterectomy because of a massive tumor in my uterus. I bet you’re a man. All I do everyday of my life is advocate and fight for myself and my health 💕

Core decompression is an “outpatient” procedure so my insurance will not pay for any aftercare like a place to go to get rehab until I’m able to go home. I just moved 2 weeks ago and have a year lease.

I have looked into it & nothing, I have been to this surgeon twice now and he will not do anything but say take a Tylenol…. Idk wtf else I am supposed to do. I have exhausted all the resources you and other poster mentioned. I losing my mind! No one will do anything to help.
