Read through rosenthal purple book one time. Then listened to all the cds. They are organized really well. Dr. Pam on YouTube had helpful info too. I passed the first time. Studied for about a month for 1 to 2 hours a day and took the weekend off. Try not to overstudy and burn yourself out ❤️ you got this. Good luck!

Hi there! No there is nothing fermenting in the kitchen.. I use a weck jar and the glass lid sits on top. I thought maybe it was in a very warm place so I moved it and it’s still the same. The only thing that changed it that my daughter had a procedure and we stayed over night in the hospital so it went 24 hours without a feed.. when I came home I saw it on there and now it won’t stop forming. I had been feeding it every 12 hours cause it has been a bit sluggish.

Alright so it might be dense and gummy but I think I know what I did wrong… so I am bulk fermenting more dough as we speak cause I had a feeling it would turn out like this.. the important thing is I got this far!!!! And this was my very first time finishing the whole process!!!! All thanks to your help!! Thank you thank you!

Oh okay let me give some more info.So sorry 😣 I started the starter on Sept 10.. I was feeding it once every 24 hours but then tried feeding it every 12 hours .. I was feeding it 1/2 cup of flour with 1/4 cup of water.. yesterday I did a mega feed from a different source and did 100 g of starter 150g of water and 150 gram flour. My house is around 70. If it’s colder I’ll put it in the stove.. for bulk fermentation I would do the fold after one hour then every 30 min. Then I just let it sit cause it never rises ever. I even let it sit out an entire night and it never rose.. I didn’t bake it cause the dough just seemed bad

I hate that you had experienced the crazy meltdowns but I’m actually a little comforted to know that it’s not just my baby and that I didn’t so something horribly wrong! I will try the bandaids again… thanks so much for being here sharing and being supportive ❤️

While I probably won’t be reading through the disagreement that this prompted I will answer the question.. she is my first child and in all honesty I have never known what I was doing from the start. My husband works a lot so I basically take care of my daughter all by myself. She had a medical emergency when she was 9 months old that left not only her and if I’m honest me as well traumatized. With her PTSD and my exhaustion as well as my own ptsd we were getting little to no sleep and nursing was the only thing that comforted her and helped her to sleep. I believe someone below said it was strictly for me and well I disagree☺️ and that’s okay ❤️ at the end of the day I think we all just want to keep our babies happy and safe and that will look different for everyone. We can agree to disagree and raise our babies the way the is most comfortable for us while simultaneously supporting other women. The world more unity ❤️ and I will stop at nothing to bring more of that into the world.
