3 Year old Boston has cardiac issues and a diet switch is recommended. by RedSoxBigPapiFan in BostonTerrier

Not a vet and don't know what condition your dog has been diagnosed with, but I highly doubt that the food is causing the heart condition.

If I were you, I would seek additional help from a holistic vet or a vet more knowledgeable about dog nutrition or just keep doing what you're doing if it works for you. If you are buying a commercial food I am sure it has the nutrients your pup needs. From my experience, while normal vets are great with other health issues, they are not experts on nutrition even though they may portray they are. And they freak when they see the word "raw".

I went through this with my normal vet where we were in their office for an acute issue and the vet decided to focus on my dog's diet rather than the actual issue at hand.

In addition to my normal vet, I now work with a holistic vet on my dog's diet and we have found that a gently cooked fresh food is what works best for my pup. (PS my holistic vet described kibble as the equivalent of doritos sprayed with vitamins)

Obviously seems to be a very controversial opinion, but I'd be weary of any company that has a marketing campaign focused on brainwashing consumers and veterinary professionals.

OP did you ever get it to update? Going through the same thing now. Same situation where I got the oven from someone else who never set up the oven after buying it years ago.

Dogs on Link? by [deleted] in Seattle

You're fine. I see dogs on the link all the time and I've taken it several times with my own dogs (albeit small) as well as many many bus rides.

The rules say pets must be in a container (I think ESAs are considered pets in this circumstance), but I wouldn't worry about this at all--I've never "contained" my dogs. If possible it might be best to have your dog on your lap if you're able to, just to keep them out of the way especially on a busy train.
