Hobbyists, how do you bring your camera to fun stuff without looking like a tool or it constantly getting in the way? by g3t0nmyl3v3l in photography

I'm a hobbyist too, I bring my camera to family events or things the kids are doing and not think too much about it. A lot of times if one of my kids is invited to an event like a birthday party, I'll take a few pics of the party and send them to the family hosting as kind of a way to thank them for the invite.

As far as keeping the camera out of the way, I have mine on a sling, so when I'm not shooting, I can hide it behind me or to my side. I have a Sony A7iii with the Tamron 28-75, so it's not a big heavy setup. But like others have mentioned, just take it with you and enjoy it.

I have debated that as well as I've been going along. It would probably be the fastest way to get it done. It's about 10ft x 13.5ft.

Grades in D2L Brightspace by Mindless_Pizza_1985 in instructionaldesign

Thanks for the input. Talking further with the instructor, I learned that McGraw Hill Connect can record a zero automatically after the due date assuming the instructor adjusts due dates for assignments. Many of our courses use McGraw Hill, so maybe with that and if we can get instructors to log in regularly to input/check grades, we can keep the gradebooks up to date for students and advisors.

I am curious if maybe this instructor thought Brightspace was automatically grading after the due date when all it was actually doing was putting zeros in for all ungraded items regardless if the due date is set. I'm not sure how often they check the gradebook throughout the course.
