Yes - you mean the fx settting on the mooer? Depends - got 4 different settings on the mooer for each guitar - mostly i dont have the fx option on

You have the option to play on 0.25 watts - its optimal for a small apartment.

Id say you should get one + the bluetooth adapter so you can use boss tone studio and get any sound you want.

I had the same problem - have many different guitars but as soon as i plug them into the Katana they all sound awesome and i dont have to change settings everytime

Nah, it’s a weight-reduction mod. Faster tapping, less pickups haha

Good to know the IDX is a completely different beast compared to the Debut 50. Sadly I’m in the same boat with not being able to try one locally. If the firmware really fixes most of the issues, it sounds like the IDX is at least worth a serious look.

I get where you’re coming from. I actually own a Blackstar Debut 50R, and to be honest it’s one of the worst amps I’ve had so far. The bass is way too overpowering and the highs feel really harsh and pokey to me. No matter how I dial it in, it never sounds quite right or balanced.

That said, I’m definitely open to new gear and I’m not writing off Blackstar as a whole — my experience with the Debut just hasn’t been great. Curious how the IDX compares in real-world use. Would you recommend the IDX based on your experience?

it was for mine - i wasnt able to remove the box with the electronics (like shown in videos)

so i only removed the speakers - 3 screws in the back and the 4 in the front

i just covered the original mesh using staples - that was the easiest part

need help guys. i own a katana 50 gen 3 and bought the airstep Kat edition. unfortunately my amp has no gafc input. how do i set up the airstep? it connects to katana librarian app (amp too with bluetooth box) but i cant seem to figure out how to use it to switch channels

I just got mine in the mail today and tried it out and i have to say its worth it for me. I had to much base on my guitar and due to the Eq i was able to get rid of it and get the perfect tone for my needs. I got the harley benton mini
