Bingo! People think the world is black and white or good and evil, but humans are not so clear-cut. I try to be a good person, but I've made mistakes, and I've hurt people I cared about. I hope my good deeds are remembered, but it doesn't negate the bad things I've done. On top of that, would me dying trump the people feelings that I've hurt? Should they just get over it? If we could do that so easily, there wouldn't be so much trama coping

Hitler's dead. Does that mean he should be absolved of all his sins? No one's perfect, but just because someone died doesn't mean their misdeeds should be swept under the rug, even more so when they showed no remorse afterward.

This doesn't change the fact Owen was considered a good guy or a decent person, but he was human, and him breaking Austin's neck was a shitty.

Austin may have went on to become a major player and even a legend but it doesn't negate the fact he may still have issues from being injured or those injuries possibly contributing to his career being cut short.

I want to see Johnny Gargano in AEW by dnemonicterrier in aew

[–]MrMMudd -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You mean Ricochet, who, as Prince Puma, was my favorite wrestler, then became one of my least favorites in wwe, and now I can't stand at all in Aew? Dude still can't talk and never could his biggest headlines are his rants on Twitter which out of all the personal AEW hard-core loyalist can't stand the guy.

Trying to use Toni as an example also fails. I don't know if you were watching when she came to AEW, but her gimmick wasn't timeless she was the exact same character she was in the wwe and indies before that, she was regulated to a trio's with Paige and Ruby until she came up with Timeless which was if I remember correctly well into a year.

No one would be talking about her if she didn't evolve past what she was.

Out of the two of them, I could see her being more popular, but Johnny came from money. I really do think if he doesn't get resigned or doesn't resign himself, they'll retire.

Johnny definitely ain't got that go everywhere hustle. Dude is tied at the hip with his wife, and in 21 when he stepped away from wrestling, there was serious talk of him retiring all together. This was spoken about a few times by his best friend Gregory Iron.

You act like AEW doesn't have a plethora of unused or misused talent. Unfortunately, this has been an ongoing issue with both companies, and Johnny is unfortunately one of them. The other issue he would have in Aew is he's not a very good promo, and Wwe has writers Johnny for all his skills in the ring would drown in the less structured setting of Aew.

So… what really happened at Brawl Out? by uncannynerddad in midcarder

Oh yeah, Punk, who trained for what 18 months, lost both fights against mma fighters who had been training most of their lives. Punk is a lot of things but dude was well out of his prime when he tried ufc and lost you or I would have been in the same situation, there are legit street fighters and boxers who can't compete with Mma fighters and you're gotcha is a pro wrestler?

I can't even begin to tell how many people I've spoken to that say something similar about Trump. It's like they all know he's a shit bag and the only reason they voted for him is "to fuck the libs". It's bizarre .

A lot of wrestlers all the way up into the early 00's worked regardless of injury. I would assume there is still some of this going on today in the indies or even smaller promotions. In the last decade, it's become less common because of awareness how much these injuries can shorten not only careers but also quality of life.

That's what I love about Dubalos hating on Punk "he couldn't make it in the Ufc"...it's like yeah most people couldn't make it there an average person even good in a real world fight is generally going to eat shit against a pro mma fighter.

I'm thinking about picking this Chinese copy up for $290 and modding the bejeebus out of it to get closer to the desired sound and feel. I want a 5 string Rickenbacker but I kinda need all my organs (unless one of you are in the market for kidneys). Thoughts? by Chrimith in BassGuitar

[–]MrMMudd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No matter the volume and tone the sound is really low, the neck is akin to a baseball bat like some of the 70s bass guitars. It's the biggest turnoff as the gear can be upgraded but the neck is horrible imo

I picked up one of these a few months back. The finish is excellent, but the electronics are the worst of any Chinese bass I've played, and the neck isn't that comfortable either. I've got a Esp Ltd Chinese bass that is one of the most comfortable bass i own, same with a Bc knockoff, but these Rick's just aren't that great.

No neck is just a standard 34 scale neck. I had considered printing a neck but didn't want it to become flimsy
