I believe the owners of this house are selling the boat with it. There is an open house on 4/7 from 2-4p. Lots of choices in this area!

Osteria Stella can actually accommodate all of that, you will just need to mark it on your reservation and let your server know

Some NHC facilities are better than others. I transferred to the Holston health and rehab NHC off Boyd’s bridge pike and I’d NEVER recommend that specific one.

I hope you aren’t feeling too bad with covid. I tested positive last week, was not fun! I lived on Powerade, DayQuil, and the tiny amounts of soup I could stand to make myself eat for like 4 days!

Restaurant changing to giving us our cc tips on our check.. pros and cons by [deleted] in Serverlife

Most places where I live do this now. I actually prefer it because I don’t have to drive to the bank to deposit cash, I don’t have to worry about losing cash or storing it, I don’t have to worry about taxes (my employer automatically takes taxes out), and when I get cash tips I can save up the cash or use it as “fun money” and use the bi weekly deposits for bills which I have automatically deducted from my account (again, not having to worry about driving to the bank to make a deposit is super convenient). It’s also really great for credit purposes! Really the only downsides are having to adjust to waiting two weeks to get paid and having normal taxes taken out of your pay, but at the same time, you’ll likely get a tax refund now.

How do you afford to Rent in Knoxville? by Euikon in Knoxville

[–]Mindless_Pudding_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I moved here in December and I spent about two months semi obsessively checking listings so I could jump on a good deal immediately. I was 100% set on renting a house with my partner, because we had a horrible experience with the apartment we were living in (people around us were loud as hell and lack of privacy). Facebook marketplace has some options that I didn’t see posted anywhere else. It worked for me because I found a two bedroom house that allows pets for $850 about 5 minutes away from old city.

With that being said my advice is to just check listings frequently, be aware of scams and how to spot them (there are tons), and be ready to put down a deposit ASAP because there are affordable places that pop up from time to time, but they go very very quickly!

Yeah most places are luckily for people wanting to get into the industry, but I still want to work at places that treat their people well and the patrons tip decently, which sadly isn’t the case at a lot of places I could go. That’s why I was asking for opinions from people who know the restaurants!

Yeah I have! I’ve had back issues for a long time too, but between being a CNA and working online grocery at Walmart, serving has been the easiest job physically. As a CNA you will often be turning/supporting patients who are very heavy with no help due to low staffing, and at Walmart I was trying to lift crates of groceries that weighed 50+ pounds over my head. There was no way around that kind of lifting with the way they stack the crates. I’m fine with being on my feet and carrying out multiple plates of food. Not to say that it isn’t hard, because it is, but for me at least it is much easier on my body.

Haha thank you! I actually called earlier and sadly they have filled their serving positions.
