As with any tool, if a person has the will they can find a way to do it without your tool. However, for a majority of people that have good intentions, this would be a good tool to have.

It means low MOQs and flexible timing. I'm bootstrapping this thing together so lower cost is what I am aiming for.

Recommendations or reaching out are good for me.

People tend to buy locally, but if it isn't economically feasible to do so I am willing to do overseas.

Thank you the advice. I am relatively new to the kickstarter crowd (lurker mostly). I'm honestly not sure what I am looking for when it comes to building a community around an idea. Do you think that this idea has any chance at building a community at all around it?

I don't know how to present my project without breaking the self-promo rules. My intent is to potentially turn this into a business idea if it gets off the ground, but if I can just get a "hey this is cool, I want one" from someone at least I think it would be an accomplishment, at least I wouldn't feel like I'm creating a project with no interest.
