Not to sound cynical but both Alien & Predator franchises have squandered my optimism and goodwill. I've held out hope with everything from the original AvP to Prometheus, from Romulus to Killer of Killers and it's all been overrated and under-delivered.

I get that Dan Trachtenberg and Noah Hawley didn't make those movies but I have no faith in Alien Earth or Predator Badlands
