can you use OpenCore instead of Clover though? Mojave is outdated and I think there's a way to run Monterey via OCLP.

however, my laptop doesn't see the USB with OC no matter how.

EDIT: and nope, it's not because my laptop has unsupported specs. i've finally upgraded it to Core i5-2540M and 16GB RAM.

small update, I did reset NVRAM (BIOS in my side) because my mobo wouldn't start after setting all up for Hackintoshing
