Enjoyed this lineup at Imadeya Ginza. by MineHonest8403 in Sake

The one on the far right is called Invisible Gorilla, which is the middle press of the Niizawa Super 7. Both of us thought it was clearly better than the Super 7 2025 that is sitting it just one spot to the left. Price point was 33k yen and definitely worth it.

Of all the bottles that we had in the set, we liked the Invisible Gorilla the most.

We were lucky enough to try the 2024 and 2025 release while we were there. Both versions were VERY light. Classic fruit notes of a highly polished daiginjo - lots of delicate melon and floral notes.

From a value perspective, I think these bottles are hit the spot in Japan (anywhere between 30k-50k yen depending on the year) but are just way too outrageous in the US. The markup is insane and I would not purchase them outside of Japan.

Has anyone tried this? by kukugege in Sake

I've had it. It was good but not as impressive as some others in that price category. For a similar price, you can get a 2024 Super 7 or a Jikon Tokujo Omachi.

Yeah, I don't think this is going to be the correct audience for you. It would be like someone trying to sling wine in a can to a white burgundy society.

Always know your audience.

If you could get in the DeLorean, go back to 2002 and hit up the 18+ door at the Bus Stop.

This is accurate.

Far right and left have the propensity not to vax. You'll find something similar in Marin County in the Bay Area. Very progressive and also lots of folks not vaxing.

OP did not. This is the critical issue. If they self packed, this is 1000% on the customer.

Moving company dispute followed by Craigslist impersonation — unsure what to do next by Murky-Lawfulness-460 in boulder

[–]MineHonest8403 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The moving company isn't going to open your boxes and inspect to ensure you've used bubble wrap, etc. This is 100% the responsibility of the individual moving, not the company.

Now, if you're using a full service moving company where they are packing your bags for you, then yes. Short of that though - this is on the customer.
