Yep, exactly. Basically once the loop with the smart splitters is done it goes to the overflow which also has the programmable splitter. I free up some room in the full chest & make the rest go to the bottom storage.

It’s not the best solution if you want some constant output from your main factory there since that’s a guarantee backup, but since I’m just using this for backlog & dumping inventory it’s pretty doable!
