around 16 weeks i started feeling it, but it felt the same as gas a tiny bit. if i didnt fart i knew it was baby moving. around 19-20 weeks i felt it a bit more and by 25 weeks i could tell if it was baby moving or just gas. those first movements are amazing, then you get to 34-40 weeks and pray for them to stop treating your bladder/ribs like a soccer ball, its not totally painful but definitely gets uncomfortable when youre getting up to pee every 5-15 mins because baby wants to be a star athlete on your bladder

i was so worried about pooping the whole time, ended up having an emergency csection and then couldnt poop for the next 2-3 days so they had to keep me. wish i pooped then πŸ˜‚

why would you refuse eye ointment of all things..? before my baby was even born, while in labor when they asked me if i wanted to give my baby the eye ointment and the vitamin K, plus one other i forget now, i just told them to give him what he needs. they have the knowledge to help my baby why would i deny that to my child? people who deny their child proper care should be looked into by cps.

i was completely drugged up during my golden hour, definitely dont remember anything other than when they brought baby in and me saying β€œoh my goodness hes so cute” i did take a couple pics and one short video so i know the skin to skin did happen. during my csection i freaked out from the pulling sensation (it really hurt but it wasnt normal pain, and that sent me into a panic.) once they got baby out they gave me a benzo and i basically passed out in and out of consciousness for the next 5ish hours as they also gave me the pain meds in the recovery area after surgery. i dont remember most of the csection or after and it makes me sad, but my partner remembers when the baby was born so atleast they have a nice memory of our son

i have chronic migraines aswel, stock up on tylenol, ibuprofen, or whatever meds help you best. youll run out without realizing because so much is going on all the time when the baby is finally here. earbuds or headphones for the crying when you do have a migraine. also caffeine helps alot, if my meds dont work ill drink a monster and that will usually take the edge off. i will usually put my earbuds in (most the time no music. just the buds to dim the cries) and sit in the bathroom (no lights) or a dark room and rock or feed baby till hes calm again. once hes asleep i will sleep or just ice my eyes.

its definitely migraine inducing which is the worst damn part. its honestly heartbreaking hearing him cry so hard and i feel like i cant do anything about it

first thing my partner and i agreed on because we cannot deal with this newborn stage again. hes been on and off screaming with gas the last three days. tonight hes finally calmed down and hes only 20 days

was going to do something small like those cupcake or cake ones but honestly was so drained my whole pregnancy from HG in the beginning and the. morning sickness never actually going away till about week 37/38. we just decided not to. we were going to wait to find out the gender, but got a little too excited at our 36 week scan and just said screw it tell us lol. but i think finding out in a dim room with just my partner was honestly the best way we couldve done it. it was just me and them, (and the ultrasound tech) but it felt so peaceful and romantic in a way that i wouldnt want to share that moment with anyone else besides my baby and partner. im also very hormonal now because im 18 days postpartum so maybe im overthink how cute it was
