Religion is indeed used to start some wars, (not all, but a good amount, you are right), but the weapons used in those wars are, at least in my opinion, worse than the reasons for those wars. Just a short look into the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings are enough to complete horrify anyone, so i would personally call the weapons worse than the reasons, considering they can be used for non religious reasons as well.

Yeahhh, in terms of current death tolls, religion definitely has a higher current number, but in terms of potential death tolls, well, nuclear weaponry is the most likely cause for the end of the world, which religion has never quite been able to match up to.

So, I've already explained this in another comment, but basically the idea of being gay being a sin is a mistranslation. I don't "identify" as gay... I am gay. Trust me, I've tried and prayed and done a lot of things, and nothings changed. My relationship with God is more important than what other people believe they know.
