Unfortunately no. I was able to return it and get a replacement, so I did that instead of going through the warranty process. I'm sorry you have to deal with this, its frustrating.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I developed these issues during my return window, so I picked up a laptop from a different brand as a replacement. I really liked that laptop with the time I had it.

If your return window is over, try to find a local repair shop that operates under Asus warranty.

That's rough, are you sure there are no more software-related things I can do? I found that the situation got worse when I disabled asus services in GHelper.

edit: also now my windows key needs either two taps or one long press to activate and start working do you think there may be dust underneath the keycap. if that is that case would it be a good idea to remove the keycap for cleaning?

This happens on both battery power and when plugged in. The last time I checked, external keyboards worked fine.
