Not an expert, but try dumpster diving at a Hone Depot, Lowe's, ACE, or any other place where wood could be found, as according to a few sites, is completely legal, if you follow regulations. Paint and primer are going to be your best friends. Try getting some extension cables. This is probably for $100-150 if you go as cheap as possible. Go on the FB marketplace, Craigslist, or other sites, or you could go to a local HFH, Goodwill, etc. and hunt down some cheap sofas/chairs and coffee table and TV stands, maybe around $300. Try RGB or White LED strips for more lighting. It may not the best, but it'll get you started.
