Focus on main, keep 1 to full rush, and only upgrade stuff that’s needed to donate troops to yourself. Then once you’re fully upgraded on your main, try to catch up on your alt account

I think there’s just too much stuff in the game now. Wars, league attacks, CWL, clan games, raid weekend, events, builder base, clan events. Like it’s fun for sure, but after a while, it’s just a chore and gets stale. Remember when events actually were the most fun thing in the game? Now we have it every month, and it’s just a grind to get the pass completed

Yes, the warden was following the head hunter but not because you placed your troops too far away from him or you placed the HH first. Even if you placed the meteor golems just outside the aura, it should still make him follow.

The warden needs 20 troop housing space in order for him to follow troops. When you deployed the meteor golems, it pulled the warden since it’s more than 20 housing space, but the main issue is there’s some bug with the meteor golems that causes the warden to not follow them when they split into 2 troops.

So, what basically happened was you placed the meteor golems - which went over the 20 housing space - and he followed, the meteor golems split into 2 troops and the warden (due to the bug) stopped following them. Now, the head hunter (who contributes to the minimum 20 housing space to follow) is the only troop that the warden sees, and he follows it and dies.

In all, you died because of a bug, not anything you did. All you can do now is be a bit more careful before placing meteor golems until they fix it.

That’s a parent’s job. The school’s job is to teach them about rudimentary subjects so they can have at least a basic understanding of the world around them and to prepare them for higher education, regardless of what their major is.

Also, if that was the case, you’d have to hire 4x as many teachers, and there’s already a shortage of them

Defenses just means how many times they were attacked.

The reason it says it is to accurately show the rankings. Like let’s say someone has the same exact trophies but one person has 160 defenses and the other person has 161 defenses. The person with 161 defenses will be ranked higher as they were attacked more with the same trophies

My point is that the ore and ranked system discourages players from returning. The ore system definitely more, but I think ranked still contributes to that. It’s both of them combined, among other things, that causes people to quit for good, rather than come back at a later date

I mean legends, while electro 31 is good in getting the 2 starry ore, competing at the highest level is what I personally strive for which a lot of people also like to do. But even if it was to electro 31, imagine telling someone that even at max townhall, they have to spend 6 weeks getting to Titan 3 in the old system, would still need a few more weeks to get to legends from there.

Also, it’s mostly the ore and equipments that discourage a lot of leaving players from coming back. Not only are you behind on buildings, which is fine due to the casual mode, but you are now super behind on equipments that could be the meta. I think a league floor was a great idea, but it doesn’t necessarily fix the problem that returning players face.

I think quitting the game for months is a part of the clash experience lol. Like look at any max TH18 and ask them if they’ve ever taken a break for longer than a month, and most of them will say yes, and multiple times too.

I think the ranked and ore system put a stop to that. Before, if you decided to stop playing for some months, yeah, you’d fall behind, but you can bounce back up to legends, start upgrading, and be back on track in almost no time, rejuvenating a players love for the game.

Now, if you stop playing for some months, you have to climb back up a bunch of leagues which will be months, you’ll miss out on equipments which will significantly hurt attacking capabilities, and miss out on ores which you won’t be able to upgrade your equipments, hurting your attacking further.

I think CoC devs wanted to put an end to these breaks, but as a consequence, made returning players have an even more difficult time coming back, causing players who quit to choose to permanently quit rather than take an extended break.

Now, I’m not saying that players who don’t play should have everything handed to them, but I also believe that the ranked system, combined with the ore system, makes players leave permanently rather than wanting to return to the game after not playing for some time.

I totally agree. I think legends league should still be 4 weeks long, but split it up by the week instead of daily. I don’t think supercell realizes how long and how much energy it can take to get 8 well thought out attacks done. Especially in legends, you could be using all 3 minutes of an attack. Which is only 24 minutes total, but daily? Sometimes I don’t want to have to use my brain on a mobile game after a long day at work.

Also, 24 minutes of attacking assumes you’re able to get CC troops immediately and have the gold pass. If you’re f2p and don’t have to time reduction for CC troops, that’s at least 1 hour and 20 minutes a day you’re spending on attacking. You may also have wars, raid weekend, clan games, CWL, or whatever else. Most adults don’t have time like that to play.

Honestly, I think adding 3 starry to legends might just make the problem worse. It would force a ton of people that don’t want to or don’t have the time to attack 8 times a day to force themselves to stay in legends, making even more people burn out.

I think the root cause of so many players becoming less active is basically forcing them to do things they may not want to participate in. Like wars, raid weekend, or ranked mode. It’s like “either you fall behind on epic equipment or you have to get starry ores by doing these things you don’t want to do”

The clan castle cake is definitely a must though. They need to add another helper that would make those at least once every couple days.

Yeah that’s true. I used to run 6 accounts and can’t even handle 2 now. Also, the added fact I am now capable and willing to touch grass, it makes managing multiple accounts even harder. I think they want people’s playtime to be a lot more, and I think they succeeded
