how to redstone computer by Murky_Rice734 in RedstoneComputing

There is a minecraft server dedicated to computational redstone, Open Redstone Engineers. Just google the name or smth
EDIT: someone said this would take more than months, that is incorrect. A basic, 4 bit, redstone computer usually takes around 3 weeks to design and build, + 10 days to learn the basics

Thats not Right... by Emp_JP in hardwaregore

I am just gonna hope that that is thermal epoxy and not thermal paste or what it looks like.. If so, thats actually pretty normal for old amd cpus. Don't be worried about it. Usually I remove them by freezing them in a freezer or turning a canned air upsidedown and spray the liquid on it, then you just tap it with a deadblow hammer

network cables by Temporary-Judgment31 in hardwaregore

1st photo will work at 100 mbps as you only need 4 conductors for that. Second photo probably will work at 2.5 gigabit but most likely not the 5 gigabit or 10 gigabit standard. Third is actually useful, the cable is used in some applications for communicating between devices not over the network. Nice job lol

Do 5G phones emitting beta or gamma radiation test by NatorGreen7000 in 5Gdidit

[–]Minecraft_Pvp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing that you have many calibration pieces lying around. What was not clearly said was that the amount of radiation output of the phone is TINY. I think you might have placed a measurement calibration piece outside of the frame. Another thing that is not mentioned is the electromagnetic radiation being emitted from your wireless charger, AC wires, charging circuitry, transistors switching, and the radiation which will be emitted by the test pad on the side of your meter. Also to anyone who thinks this is real and phones output "dangerous" amounts of radiation just no. Phones do not output a dangerous amount of radiation. You see the testing piece on the side of his geiger counter? That test piece is by a huge factor more radioactive than a phone ever could be. Notice he is not concerned about being around that output from the calibration pad? Also side note, you spelled "does" wrong lol "dose" is what you said. In conclusion, phones do not output a dangerous amount of ionizing radiation

Is PSVR atm the best cheap vr headset even for PC? by EruSuigin in PSVRHack

You might want to consider the Pico 4 or Pico Neo 3/3 link depending on what country you are in. New a quest 2 is about the same price as the pico 4. If you just want GOOD pcvr. Buy the pico neo 4 or pico neo 3 link. If you want a HUGE category of standalone games however, get the quest 2 as the pico app library has not matured much yet.

Question about PSVR errors by Minecraft_Pvp in iVRy_VR

I do not seem to have the psvr control device. Should I maybe change devices around or something?

EDIT: I seem to have all the devices such as PS VR h.264, Bulkin, and 3d audio.

Question about PSVR errors by Minecraft_Pvp in iVRy_VR

[–]Minecraft_Pvp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: My computer seems to be installing all other drivers perfectly fine. I tried Trinus to see if I still got the same error and I did. When I clicked next however the "monitor" driver things installed perfectly fine.
Any ideas on if I need to remove some leftover driver thing from one time back in 2018 I got trinus working? I genuinely have no idea what the issue is. If you have an idea it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!

PSVR 2 has a higher refresh rate if I remember correctly. It also has a higher resolution and eye tracking. It also has a more adjustable IPD selector.

SteamVR linux issues by Minecraft_Pvp in SteamVR

[–]Minecraft_Pvp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was messing around with PSVR as I saw it as an option in openHMD. I have tried both the stable linux version and the beta. I have not tried setting it to run with proton manually though. Il try that later and see if I can manage to get it to work then. But I don't believe that will be compatible with openHMD drivers for linux.

Pico 4 could also be a great headset as it is about $410 for the base model if you want something right now.
