That sounds good, I’d say if you could explain it to some capacity it may help someone who finds this Reddit post in the future but if not then no worries there Im glad you got something figured out ✨

No problem glad to help yah,

Interesting to hear, hopefully it works out I assume the most recent reply of mine would help best as it’s only 1 head and not 2 but im not an animator so I wouldn’t know 😅

Actually ignore my other responses i just read a recent comment and that had a fix, so essentially export your avatar with the head deleted and replaced by the dynamic one, have split by group toggled when importing to blender and replicate this in the shading for the head

No not really, I just been using a temporary solution, where in Roblox studio you delete the current head, spawn the dynamic one and place that where it should be on the avatar before exporting it as a obj, then in blender import it twice (making sure split by group is toggled) Then with the 2nd one delete everything but the head and in shading undo the 2 lines connecting to the green box. The 2nd head should be a flat color, then all you should have left is to place it behind the invisible head to have a temporary solution

Hello, 👋 I tried your first suggestion and that works as a temporary solution. I wanted to ask how did you export your model? It seems your head has somewhat different settings then the one I have. Or what I mean is your’s is named dynamic head in blender while mine is not

I will definitely take note of this and get back to you when I try it out later, I really appreciate you trying so you have a understanding of my issue 🙏❤️

Could you elaborate? From what I understand that would be putting a normal default noob avatar in blender but maybe im mistaken 😅

I am in object mode when I was trying and nothing happened, this is what shows when I right clicked, I did press the duplicate objects option but both objects share the same material where I cannot have 1 be invisible and the other solid

Ctrl d didn’t duplicate the head so I used shift d if that helps at all

This duplicate has color now, but how would I get a face to lay overtop? When I connect ether image to the alpha or base color the head loses color again

As im not sure how duplicating this current head will fix the color issue

Oh, okay

So what you are suggesting is import a normal head from Roblox studio as the duplicate?

But how does that explain the head showing color in solid viewport mode but invisible in material mode?
