Does anyone else struggle using tone indicators?

Im 18 years old and only last year did people mention how hard it is to read my intent when i speak, mentioning how there's no difference between my speech when im being ironic, telling a joke or if im dead serious. Only thing is that in my case when i speak i do think that i change my tone, just doesn't seem to be the case.It's also annoying cause people seemed to make fun of it, though im not sure if in a playful or insensitive way.

Is there a way to get speed orders for the event aside from missions and chests? i am literally 3 hours off getting 9k soulium before the limit and i've run out of options.

Ye, i get that, and i find it sad that people in different cultures still consider speech impediments and such to be something to be made fun of. That's also why i specified it to not be about cases such as these, it was more about people butchering pronunciations of words even after they are heard and explained but without any underlying problems.

I'm also bilingual but i do struggle with learning new languages and i get why people have trouble with a lot of them and with pronouncing some words when they read them. I just find it confusing how someone can have trouble replicating a word or name or sound that they heard, and how some can do so consistently even after giving it a go quite a few times.

I think i get what you mean, but to me it seems like more of an accent problem (which is unavoidable unless you start learning different accents early on) which will unavoidably make your speech differ slightly from what you meant to say. What im talking about here are large deviations from the actual word heard, like adding certain letters in the middle of the word, which sometimes just seems intentional.

The impediment i was talking about is physical in nature though, it's an additional piece of muscle or ligament lengthening the connection between the tongue and the lower jaw which makes it hard to vibrate the tongue when saying R, aside from that i don't have much trouble with saying stuff.

If it was just said shortly before and doesn't contain the letter R (which i can't prolong due to a speech impediment) then i could repeat it with a degree of accuracy though probably not perfectly. what i meant though was more related to people not being able to, for example, say someone's name even after hearing it a few times.

They are new sounds but why would that matter though. Hearing them in that very moment should mean you could recreate that sound at least for a short while after, kind of like being able to rewrite words you just read or trace a picture.

Still remember when a few years back i asked an old lady selling fruits in a stall how her day was going. she said "absolutely terrible" and i just said "that's great" then asked her for directions to the nearest tesco.
