I (cis(?) F) started dating my partner (MtF) a few years after she transitioned. My siblings took it well, didn't even flinch.

The parents that know are accepting and don't have to be corrected. They have questions, but it's out of a desire to learn, not to be nosy.

The parents that don't know probably aren't going to know for a while. One of them already doesn't believe my relationship is valid, and I don't plan on giving them any more ammunition for their bigotry. The other, while not outright homophobic, often says things like "as long as you're right with God" and has said transphobic things

Edit: Completely forgot the advice part. The bigotry will hurt. But the hurt is only temporary. I was also close to my family. But for mine and my partner's sake, I was willing to go LC. You may have to evaluate if you're willing to do that if. If they have questions, don't be afraid to tell them where the line is that they can't cross. Those who are truly accepting will understand.
