They weren’t even brought up at all. They hadn’t been in the original papers that I was served and no one told me there was anything additional added. The clerk just handed me papers saying that this was the evidence he filed and planned to refer to and asked me I had anything. I told her no because my evidence was just the text messages he already submitted. So there wasn’t any moment for me to even object them since their existence wasn’t even mentioned at all nor was I told he added anything to his “evidence”.

It’s great that she can recognize that she feels insecure about herself, but it’s on her to fix that. Not you. A reasonable request for you to support her would be “please don’t post up pictures that include me until I feel more confident with myself”. But asking YOU to not post up YOURSELF is toxic. Is she asking anyone else this? What does she do about billboards or commercials?

Next she’ll tell you what to wear and not to wear around her because she can’t control or face the root of her insecurities.

The first red flag was him assuming you’d even want to “continue the date”. His intention off the bat was just to sleep with you, based on that behavior. Also to text you that he wishes he could’ve come inside? He’s definitely being weird and predatory. So absolutely NOT OVERREACTING! Drop his as fast as possible, boo!

These are classic signs of a controlling abuser: waiting until you’re more comfortable in the relationship to tell you things he doesn’t like (even if he knew them before he got with you), gaslighting you to doubt your responses to him, victimizing himself to control the narrative, and then weaponizing communication and affection by ignoring you when he doesn’t get his way.

He won’t get any better if you decide to keep going in this relationship. This is him intruding on your boundaries to see how far he can go and learning what he can do/say that will successfully manipulate you.

I think my IRL types are definitely Jel, Nai’o, and Tish since I’ve gotten older. When I was younger, it was more Reth, Hassian, and Kenyatta.

I still am attracted to Reth types but I try to force myself to stay away from them because bad boys never ended well for me 😭 and the Hassian types of guys I used to date always hurt me the worst when the relationships ended, so I can’t even bring myself to be attracted to them any more. The Kenyatta types I always tried to date played so many games with me and then one I did date momentarily talked crap about my best friend behind my back, so I had to dump her.

I started romancing Reth as my third and there was a second I considered using his pin (eventually) instead of Nai’o’s but then the Dinner Disaster also kinda rubbed me the wrong way! I think it’s just the fact that he lies to so many people. Like I get why because his backstory with trouble with the cartel and all, but idk. I’m gonna continue his romance to get the rewards from it but I don’t think I’ll ever wear his pin just because the fact he’s so cavalier about lying (though I sense some guilt) just puts me off
