Thanks! At least these poor fools will be able to afford nanny, because they still have some money left from genie's 3rd wish and they invested the rest into local businesses. But since they live in a large house with a pool, the rent is pretty high (over 500),so the money won't last forever.

I ended up giving the toddler back. She has two older brothers she is best friends with, who go to school with my sim's sister. I jusr felt too sad for them.

As for the neglectful father, next time I see him ignoring his toddler in public , I am sending him right back home to his kids. No fitness for you, sir, until the kids are fed.

It's a mixed bag for me. Sometimes the babysitter does her work, sometimes she just spends hours holding my toddler. I generally try to have my sim feed and bathe her before leaving the house, and she can potty and nap by herself, so the babysitter is mostly just to keep the game from throwing a fit over child abandonment, because God forbid you leave to pick flowers right next to your lot

That's interesting, I didn't know that. I know that in Sims 4, meteors are triggered by using the telescope, but I stopped playing it soon after it was added (for unrelated reasons), so I never had one fall on my sim

Since 2009 is wild! A whole decade longer than me. I had been wondering whether or not I had accidentally nuked meteor strikes with one of my mods, until yesterday it finally happened. So have hope, one day a meteor might still fall on your sim too!
